How I get involved: I love attending club meetings and getting involved with events hosted by the Biology Undergraduate Society and the Science Society.
Why I love my program
I love studying biology because it offers endless opportunities for learning about the world, from the smallest microbe to blue whales, and everything in between. Discovering the intricate functions of living things has allowed me to see the world around me for its depth and beauty!
Why University of Waterloo?
The opportunities for hands-on laboratory work and field work that the University of Waterloo offer have been invaluable in my learning experience. Having heard about these opportunities when I was applying, it made the decision much easier knowing I would be deeply engaging with the material I was learning in lectures.
