Program: Honours Science
Year: 4
Pronouns: She/Her
Career goal: My goal is to go to medical school and specialize in dermatology.
How I get involved: I enjoy being involved in the Waterloo community through a variety of leadership roles, athletics, and campus events. This year I am the Vice President of Student Life for my Science Society and an orientation event lead, where I help organize events that bring students together and create a fun, supportive environment. I am also a Science Lead for a student-run research project, where I've had the opportunity to collaborate with other students while supporting research initiatives. Outside of academics, I'm a member of the Waterloo equestrian team, participate in intramural sports, and enjoy volunteering at annual science events to celebrate the science community.
Why I love my program
I love my program because it gives me the opportunity to customize my degree where I can explore all the different areas of science and other fields of interests while preparing me for a future career in healthcare.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo because of its strong reputation for science and research, as well as the many opportunities to gain hands-on experience and get involved on campus. I was also drawn to the supportive community, excellent professors, and the chance to learn alongside very hard working and motivated students.
