Career goal: I want to become a clinical pharmacist specializing in oncology! I hope to support patients through their cancer journey while contributing to research that leads to better cancer treatments. My goal is to make a positive impact through both patient care and cancer research.
How I get involved: This is my first year joining the Science Ambassador Team! In my first year, I was an Events Executive for Waterloo's Alliance of Cancer Care Equity (ACCE UW), where I helped plan fundraising events. I also got involved by attending campus residence events and volunteering with Canadian Blood Service, which helped me meet new people and get connected with the Waterloo community!
Why I love my program
I love my program as it gives me the flexibility to build my degree around my future goals. I am planning to apply for the PharmD program and being in Honours Science helps me to complete the pre-requisite courses while still letting me take courses that I am interested in.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo because it has a welcoming environment that allows me to stay focused on my future goals while meeting people with similar interests. Having the PharmD program here also gives me the opportunity to connect with students who share the same career aspirations!
