Program: Honours Mathematical Physics

Year: 2

Stream of study: Co-op

Pronouns: He/Him

Career goal: Theoretical Physicist (Physics Researcher in General), Teacher or some combination of Both!

How I get involved: I volunteer tutor at the Physics Tutorial Center, I'm a part of the Waterloo Quantum Club and involved with Campus Housing.

Why I love my program

I love mathematical physics because you get to understand math well enough you see it as a language, so when you see the physics described by mathematics you can see the beauty and has deepened my understanding of the physical world.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose Waterloo in part because of the proximity to the Perimeter Institute, and the work that goes on there. As well it offered mathematical physics, which was the program that was most interested in doing (right choice for me, for sure). I also enjoy that the campus is self-contained, and from going to open houses (and now being a student here) the community is made-up of fantastic people, I love the atmosphere!
