How I get involved: I like getting involved by attending Faculty of Science events and spending time with friends I've met through my classes and program. University can get busy, so I try to make the most of the opportunities to connect with other students, whether that's through campus events, study sessions, or just hanging out between classes. I’ve had a great experience so far building friendships and feeling part of the Waterloo community!
Why I love my program
I love my program because of how hands-on it is! The labs have definitely been one of my favourite aspects because everything you learn in lectures turns into a real experience. Even when experiments don't go as planned, I always end up learning something new from them.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo because of the wide range of opportunities it offers, but what made me stay was the community I’m surrounded by! Everyone is passionate about what they're studying, and I've met so many supportive people through my classes and labs. Waterloo has challenged me in the best way and helped me grow both academically and personally.
