Program: Mathematical Physics

Year: 2

Pronouns: She/Her

Career goal: To do research in theoretical physics

How I get involved: I attend various campus events and make use of school resources such as the libraries, the PAC and CIF, and the Physics Tutorial Centre.

Why I love my program

I love my program because it allows me to take more advanced math courses while keeping a focus on physics. I’ve always loved math and physics individually so not having to choose between them makes it so much more enjoyable. I also love the fact that I’m in a program that will give me a basis for theoretical physics, which is what I want to pursue later on.

Why University of Waterloo?

I wasn’t sure which university I wanted to attend so I decided to visit Waterloo. It very quickly became the place I wanted to go and the more I looked into science at Waterloo the more I wanted to go. Not too long after I accepted my offer and now I’m here!
