How I get involved: In addition to being a science ambassador, I was a science orientation leader for 2 years and I volunteer with Waterloo Science Outreach where I do fun workshops with Let's Talk Science. Additionally, this is my second year being involved with the Science Society, first year being an events coordinator, and this term being a volunteer manager for the Science CnD!

Why I love my program

I love my program because I'm able to complete the necessary prerequisites for a variety of professional school programs while also giving the flexibility to take electives that I find interesting that aren't related to my program. I also love the labs that Waterloo has to offer, as it is not only beneficial to my learning, but also provides the hands on experience needed for future careers.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose Waterloo for the supportive campus community. As someone who values having a "school-life balance", not only is Waterloo academically driven, there are many opportunities to get involved on campus, such as research, joining student led clubs, attending events, and so much more! This allowed me to meet new people, have new experiences, and overall have fun.
