Program: Honours Psychology, Biology Minor
Year: 4
Stream of study: Regular
Pronouns: She/Her
Career goal: I am currently exploring various options and open to different possibilities, however, my main interest lies in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (HR) or Educational Psychology.
How I get involved: I have been a part of different clubs at UW such as the UW Neurodegenerative Disease Research Association. I was a Teaching Assistant for a first year Biology lab and had the opportunity to interact with many new first-year students! I also get involved in the events hosted by the PsychSoc which is a great way to meet other students in your program and learn about shared interests.
Why I love my program
I love my program because I truly believe Psychology intersects with every field in the world! I love how there is so much to choose from and learn so many new things each day. I like how I get insight into the scientific side of psychology because of the combination of my courses and they seamlessly complement each other. Psychology in the science faculty allows me to explore different career options and apply the skills I learn in the program to volunteer, research, and internship experiences. It’s an exciting journey that keeps me engaged and inspired!
