Additionally, this program allows students to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory and attain important skills that can be applied to various research and healthcare professions.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose the University of Waterloo due to its renowned School of Optometry, as I aspire to become an optometrist. I believe that completing my undergraduate at the University of Waterloo will allow me to have a strong foundation and smooth transition into the School of Optometry in the future. Furthermore, the course sequence for the Biomedical Sciences program at the University of Waterloo aligns with the academic requirements needed to pursue this career path, so it offers knowledge and preparation to achieve my goal.
