Program: Honours Science

Year: 2

Stream of study: Regular

Pronouns: She/Her

Career goal: Pharmacy!!

How I get involved: Beyond being a Science Ambassador, I am also an off-campus Community Don, where I support first-year students as they navigate the transition to university life and work to create a welcoming, connected community beyond residence. This year, I also had the opportunity to serve as a Science Orientation Frontline Leader, which allowed me to connect directly with incoming science students and help them feel excited and supported as they began their university journey. In the past, I have been involved with the UW Bhangra Team, the UW Indian Student Association, and the Science Society, experiences that have allowed me to build community, express culture, and stay actively engaged on campus in meaningful ways.

Why I love my program

I chose Honours Science because the program allows me to explore diverse disciplines while building a strong and comprehensive scientific foundation. The program has given me the freedom to design an education that reflects my passions, while preparing me to pursue meaningful and impactful pathways in health and science. Honours Science not only supports my academic goals, but also inspires my long-term vision for growth, discovery, and contribution.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose UWaterloo because of its vibrant campus and the hands-on learning opportunities in its well-equipped science labs. The Honours Science program gives me the flexibility to explore different areas of science while building a strong foundation for my future. I was also drawn to the supportive community, where students and faculty inspire each other to learn, grow, and get involved both inside and outside the classroom.
