Career goal: I'm not entirely sure what I would like to do but potentially something in healthcare!
How I get involved: Aside from joining the science ambassador team, I have given out residence tours at Conrad Grebel which is affiliated with UW.
Why I love my program
I love that the biochemistry program has a mix of hands on experience in labs which corresponds to all of the theory behind each of the experiments. A mix between biology and chemistry really is the best of both worlds and allows me to understand the way living organisms function all around me!
Why University of Waterloo?
Primarily, I chose Waterloo because of the co-op experience. As I am still figuring out my career pathway, getting experience in different work environments guides me in discovering what I enjoy most. UW is always offering events to meet new people and overall, the Waterloo area has lots to do!
