Science Ambassador

Program: Biomedical Sciences

Year: 3

Pronouns: She/Her

Career goal: Medicine

How I get involved: I am actively involved in the University of Waterloo community through leadership, extracurriculars, and volunteering. As a Science Orientation Leader, I welcome and support incoming first-year students as they transition to university life. I am also a member of the Waterloo Warriors Dance Team, where I contribute to a strong community built around teamwork and dance. Additionally, I have volunteered at both a chiropractic and cardiology clinic, helping improve access to healthcare services.

Why I love my program

I enjoy studying Biomedical Science because I am fascinated by how the human body functions and have a strong interest in human anatomy. The program allows me to explore many areas of healthcare while building the knowledge and skills needed to achieve my career goals.

Why University of Waterloo?

I chose the University of Waterloo because of its supportive environment and the many resources available to help students succeed. From academic support services to modern facilities and opportunities to get involved, Waterloo provides the guidance and motivation needed to grow both personally and professionally.
