Program: Honours Science
Year: 3
Stream of study: Regular

How I get involved: Outside of being a Science Ambassador, I am the Vice President for Medicine4youth at Waterloo and the Bioethics Society and research assistant at the Face Processing & Social Cognition lab. I am also a member of the volleyball intramurals, SERVE volleyball, Dragon Boat and Running and Marathon club.
Why I love my program
I love my program because of the flexibility it offers. With only a few mandatory courses, I have the freedom to choose classes that meet the prerequisites for most professional schools while also exploring areas outside of science like computer science. This flexibility also gives me the option to adjust my course load, such as taking a course without the lab or skipping a course altogether if its known to be too difficult.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose the University of Waterloo because of its strong academic reputation and the many opportunities for research and hands-on experience. I also liked the sense of community here with lots of clubs, resources and acitvities that make it easy to get involved and meet like minded people. I knew waterloo would give me the support and environment I need to reach my goals.
