Why I love my program
I love my program as there is such a wide selection of courses in biology, ranging from microbiology to ecology to physiology. There are also a lot of opportunities for hands-on learning in labs as well as researching with a professor! My program has really solidified my interest in science and motivates me to pursue the fields that intrigue me the most.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo because it really felt like a university town. Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming and the city of Waterloo offers amazing restaurants, nature, and entertainment. The University of Waterloo is also a great school with a focus on academic excellence and that motivates me to push through my studies along with everyone else here. I am also in the co-op program so Waterloo has provided an amazing system for me to discover what I like and don't like in the workplace. Overall, I am glad I chose Waterloo!
