Career goal: I aspire to become a Genetic Engineer and contribute to genetic solutions for long-term space exploration.
How I get involved: I get involved on campus by attending events hosted by the science clubs and WUSA whenever I can. I enjoy meeting new people, making connections and being part of the Waterloo community!
Why I love my program
I love my program because of the flexibility it gives me to explore so many different areas of biology. Whether it's molecular and cell biology, microbiology, ecosystems, marine life, vertebrates or creepy-crawlies, there is always something new to learn. I love that I can follow my interests while still getting a well rounded understanding of the living world.
Why University of Waterloo?
I chose Waterloo because of its co-op program, which gives me the opportunity to explore the many different areas of Biology and pursue my interests.
