How I get involved: Currently, this is my first year as a Science Ambassador. But I am also part of Move your Mind. A program that encourages and motivates University of Waterloo students to stay active, as well as maintain their physical wellbeing's for those who may be struggling with starting or staying consistent with implementing physical activity along with their studies. In prior terms, I have also been apart of the UW Pre-Pharmacy club along with the Biology Undergraduate Society, which I highly recommend all science students to check out!
Why I love my program
Honours Science gives students in the faculty the flexibility to explore interests through their electives, while also completing science prerequisites that go towards their professional school of choice such as, dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, etc.
Why University of Waterloo?
Since the University of Waterloo offers both a pharmacy and optometry career pathway, as well as a program now that leads directly to medical school. I wanted to familiarize myself with the environment, and get to know my peers who may share my interests before committing to a future occupation.
