Shape the World Campaign

We are proud to launch the $560,000 Shape the World Campaign to expand United College's GreenHouse, an innovative and rigorous program that helps students develop an entrepreneurial skill set, and turn ideas for social impact into profitable ventures.

With the generous support of our friends and donors, more than $550,000 has been pledged so far!

The infrastructure portion of the proceeds ($250,000) will furnish a 70-room GreenHouse residence and equip a 2,500 square-foot incubator space. Both residence and program spaces have been specially designed to foster the creative 24/7 collaboration required for entrepreneurial success. Moreover, we will be expanding Watson's Eatery and creating a new student commons to benefit all students.

The Campaign will also provide $250,000 in venture creation grants for eligible GreenHouse students to develop their social ventures from validation to market launch.
