Going abroad can add value to your degree by supporting the development of new skills, building your international network and expanding your views and opportunities.

Over 50% of our Global Business and Digital Arts students pursue a term abroad either in their first term of third year (3A) or first term of fourth year (4A). To be considered in the matching process for summer/fall/winter 2022 or winter 2023, you must attend a mandatory information session.

Important notes about the event and Going Abroad:

  • No registration is required. Webex link for the session can be found below.
  • Please join the session 5 - 10 minutes before the start time. Once the session has started, you'll no longer have access to join.
  • You must attend the full hour to have your attendance counted toward the requirement.
  • All information sessions will cover the same content, including information about the fall 2021 exchange contest. At the end of some sessions, you can stay to hear a guest presenter share their knowledge and expertise about exchange.
  • If you attended an info session last year, you need to attend again. The information in these sessions change every year, so students need to attend a session in the application cycle that they are applying.
  • GBDA staff and faculty will be in attendance to assist with answering GBDA-specific questions.
