Peter Pillsworth

Facilities Manager

Peter Pillsworth
Growing up in the small town of Englehart in Northern Ontario, Peter is the longest-standing staff member at St. Paul’s, having been with the College since 2009. As the Facilities Manager, he is responsible for overseeing any renovations/building projects that happen at the College, purchasing supplies, ensuring all spaces are well-maintained and conducting/scheduling proactive maintenance, and dealing with any facilities emergencies as they arise. He also works as an IT liaison between the main campus and the College because of his background in computers.

Before joining the College, he worked at a plant in Englehart called Grant Forest Products, a company in Guelph called Abacus Computers, and in Waterloo at Metris, a company that used indoor GPS to install wings on aircraft (including the Boeing 787 Dreamliner). His roles had him doing a range of tasks related to administration and facilities coordination, including stock room management, inventory control, payroll, purchasing, accounts payables and receivables, and security.

Peter is also musically gifted, so when he’s not at the College, you can often find him either singing or playing some sort of instrument, whether it’s the bass, drums or guitar. He also enjoys weightlifting and playing golf in his spare time.
