Reminders

  • Instructors assigning INC grades must be available to assess and submit the grade for the completion of the student's course work. If an instructor will not be available, they need to arrange with their Chair to have the assessments completed and the final grade updated. If assigning INC grades please ensure the INC Grade Form is submitted no later than the grade submission deadline for the course.
  • Late grades can prevent student academic progression and delay confirmation of a student’s application to graduate. It is very important to submit your grades on time. There is no need to hold up grade submission if you are still awaiting graded work from a subset of students. For instance, if you are waiting for some students to take a makeup exam or submit an outstanding assignment, then you can arrange an INC for those individuals and submit final grades for the rest of your class by the submission deadline. 

Schedule 

  • Classes End: December 2 

  • Study days prior to exams: December 3-4 

  • Final exam period: December 5-18 

  • Final examination emergency days: December 14 and 19

Grades 

  • Available Grades  (Calendar), including non-numeric grades   

    • INC grade process and form (Registrar’s Office, sign-in required) 

      • Instructors should ensure submission of the online INC Grade Form no later than the grade submission deadline for the course

    • Failing grades will appear as submitted on the student transcript, but grades in 0-32% range are calculated at 32% in averages  

  • Grade submission (Quest)   

  • Grade submission dates (Registrar’s Office, sign-in required):  *Attention! Late grades can prevent student academic progression! Please try and get them in on time*  

    • December 18 for all courses without a scheduled exam or final assessment during the Final Exam Period  

    • January 5, 2026 for all online courses with a scheduled final examination during the Final Examination Period

    • 7 days after exam for all on-campus courses with a scheduled exam or major assignment during the Final Examination Period

    • Grades begin to appear in Quest December 20 

  • Grade changes must be submitted within one year from the Officially Graded/Standing Decisions Date (January 22, 2026)
