4. Training Requirements
The safety training requirements are determined by the type of research conducted and the specific risks present in each lab. Some modules are also mandated to comply with other UW policies and procedures, including cybersecurity and accessibility. Please refer to the information below for detailed guidance on the training modules required for your specific situation.

1-The use of specialized equipment, such as X-ray machines, Lasers and Radiation sources, may require additional training. Please consult with your supervisor for more information.
2-Biosafety training is mandatory only for researchers working in Biosafety Level 2 laboratories, as listed below.
