In first year, I wish I knew to make a set sleep schedule for yourself and stick to it, resist the urge to stay up later and continue working. The lack of sleep will catch up with you eventually and make you completely unproductive for a few days, not good if it's near exams!
Involvement outside the classroom: Soccer intramurals, Hackathons, Math faculty workshops, open house volunteering.

Favourite or most recent co-op work term: For my first co-op term I worked at Bell as a developer in Business Intelligence. I worked with a lot of data: importing it, transforming it, and building business analyses based on the data. I enjoyed my role at Bell because I was able to leverage my knowledge of programming but also learn a lot about business and interacting with clients.
Plans for life after CFM: I want to remain flexible and be able to move around quite a bit, both in terms of career and location, so that I can find what I enjoy the most. After that I may pursue a master's degree.
