Shake off the midterm blues and gear up for July with physical activity and a relaxation break.

Join us for one or both activities below to get your body moving and calm your mind for the afternoon.

  • 3:30 - 4:30 pm, Ring Road | Walk or run Ring Road to get your heart pumping and enjoy the sunshine. Move at your own pace or join a group. We will meet outside of the Davis Centre on Ring Road and walk or run the full campus in one (walking) or more laps (running). Aim to arrive at 3:15 pm so we can leave at 3:30 pm. Unable to join us right away? Meet us on the path. We'll be starting our route heading towards Parking Services and following the full loop of Ring Road.
  • 4:30 - 5:30 pm, MC 5501 | Calm your mind and relax your muscles with yoga, instructed by Nadine Quehl. Whether you have or have not practiced yoga before, this is an introductory class to expose you to different movements and poses. Even if you only have 10 minutes to attend, we still encourage you to come out. Meet us in MC 5501 to join our practice. If you have a yoga mat, please bring this with you. Otherwise, borrowed mats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To participate in yoga, please fill out the YOGA Health and Waiver Form. You are welcome to also bring yoga straps, blocks and balls to work out.

You are encouraged to bring breathable clothes, running/walking shoes, sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and yoga mat (if available).

Healthy snacks and refreshments will be provided in MC 5501.
