Born: Elmshorn, Germany. In Canada since I was 5 years old.
Education: Studied Computer Science at the University of Alberta, completed PhD in 1988 Academic interests: Symbolic computation, computational finance.
Other interests: Hockey and biking.
Why Computing and Financial Management?
I am the Co-Director of the CFM program because of my strong belief that finance has basically become a high tech industry and as a result, the blend of computer science and finance will play a vital role in the future economy of Canada.
