Thursday, April 2, 2026 10:00 am - 5:20 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)
The Department of English and the Department of Communication Arts are excited to announce the upcoming Winter 2026 Science and Math Communication Showcase.
The showcase will take place in STC 2001 (the second-floor foyer of the Science Teaching Complex) on the following days:
- Wednesday, April 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:20 p.m.
- Thursday, April 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:20 p.m.
This event will involve twenty sections of COMMST/ENGL 193, five sections of ENGL 119, twenty-five instructors, and over 850 students.
Students throughout the event will display projects that they have produced in their courses, including conference posters, research projects, and media presentations. This is an opportunity to observe how the courses teach science and mathematics students to communicate with multiple audiences, and how the courses engage with the University Communication Requirements (UCR) initiative. We are eager to share the course’s output with any interested visitors.
