The Fall 2025 Science Communication Showcase, featuring 24 classes and over 500 students, will be held on December 1 and 2 in STC 2001.

Jack Halberstam is Professor of American Studies and Ethnicity, Gender Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California. This is a special lecture and conversation co-sponsored by the Department of English Language & Literature, the Department of Philosophy, the Critical Media Lab, and the Faculty of Arts.​

UWaterloo English's Lamees Al Ethari and Carrie Snyder and writer Tasneem Jamal facilitated the X Page Workshop, a SSHRC Connection Grant project in which immigrant and refugee women from the Waterloo region wrote stories based on their life experiences.
