About Ben
My name is Ben Reid and I am a Territory Business Manager with Dexcom in British Columbia. I started my career with Dexcom 5 years ago, where I began with the inside sales team and transitioned to field sales in 2019. My current role involves routinely meeting with physicians, nurse educators and diabetes specialists to teach them about the benefits of their patients using a Dexcom continuous glucose monitor (CGM). I work from home and travel throughout the week either on the island or northern BC to meet with these practitioners. I am an avid rock climber and live with my wife and our daughter in Victoria, BC.
I took the long way to finding my current career and would love to share some of my learnings. My undergrad and Master's was in Kin and I went through a number of different jobs that all helped gain experience for what I am currently doing. Sales was not a career path I thought of as an option after graduation, but it has been extremely rewarding and my undergrad learnings have been invaluable.
