The Office of Indigenous Relations (OIR) and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO) will host Red Dress Day to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People, featuring a sacred fire and ceremonial dress-hanging event by Elder Myeengun Henry. This will be followed by a storytelling presentation by researcher Tamara Bernard, who shares how storytelling serves as both remembrance and resistance—carrying the voices of those no longer here while restoring dignity and challenging harmful narratives. 

Clara Hughes, a six-time Olympic medalist and mental health advocate, shares her candid experience living with depression to inspire others to face their fears and find their voice. As the founding spokesperson for Bell Let's Talk, she explores the power of movement to change lives and emphasizes the importance of deep connection with oneself and others.
