The Faculty of Health actively engages in collaborative research aimed at protecting and promoting health, preventing illness and optimizing quality of life and wellbeing.
Our research aims to enhance quality of life for individuals, communities and populations. Established and emerging areas of research impact, as outlined in our Health in 3D report, include:

Our researchers work closely with partners including ministries of health and health promotion, private industry, the World Health Organization, Public Health Agency of Canada, International Society of Biomechanics, World Tourism Organization, NASA, and many others to identify and understand health complex challenges and to develop relevant solutions. The Faculty is also home to many research centres and groups.
