Can you take the train? Procurement & Contract Services has negotiated favourable terms and a University of Waterloo specific "portal" with VIA Rail for both business and personal travel.

We have also worked with Enterprise rental cars to ensure they have more fuel efficient vehicles available. Enterprise has a wide reaching program to facilitate their corporate environmental stewardship.

When traveling locally on university business, you may want to consider the option of a car sharing service, with our preferred partners at Enterprise Car Share.  You can create a department account; join an existing department account and/or create a personal account.
