Beverley's Fund for Accessibility

Value: TBD by Adjudicators
Application: Contact Renison Registrarial Services.

The Beverley’s Fund for Accessibility provides financial support to students enrolled in a Renison University College program—Social Development Studies (SDS), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), or Master of Social Work (MSW)—who require accessibility-related products and cannot obtain them through other means. The fund may be used to purchase assistive computer devices, software, or other approved accessibility products that support a student’s documented functional limitations.

This fund is not open to students taking minors or individual Renison courses.

To qualify for the Beverley’s Fund for Accessibility, a student must:

  1. Be enrolled in the SDS, BSW, or MSW program at Renison University College.
  2. Be registered with the Office of AccessAbility Services (AAS), have had their assistive device needs assessed, and have exhausted all alternative funding or support options.
    • If AAS determines that no alternative resources are available, they may refer the student back to Renison with information outlining the student’s assistive device needs.
