At
the
beginning
of
my
research
on
university
programs,
I
did
not
know
what
the
Accounting
and
Financial
Management
(AFM)
program
was,
but
I
was
intrigued
and
wanted
to
know
more.
While
talking
to
my
aunt
about
university
programs,
she
brought
up
AFM,
which
I
had
never
heard
about
prior
to
that
conversation.
She
told
me
it
was
accounting
and
financial
management
and
that
it
would
be
a
great
program
for
me
to
check
out
because
of
my
interest
in
business.
After
looking
into
it
a
little
more,
I
thought
it
might
be
a
good
option.
I
have
an
interest
in
accounting
and
I
want
to
run
my
own
business
after
post-secondary
schooling.
With
AFM,
I
can
gain
a
solid
foundation
in
business
and
it
will
help
me
pursue
a
career
in
an
area
of
accounting
and
finance.
Beyond
a
career
in
accounting
or
finance,
the
AFM
program
would
also
be
a
great
background
to
have
if
I
decide
to
start
my
own
business.
I
would
not
have
known
about
the
AFM
program
if
it
were
not
for
my
aunt
telling
me
about
it.
