Dr. Timothy Bauer, professor, research fellow in assurance, and executive director of the University of Waterloo Centre for Information Integrity & Information Systems Assurance (UWCISA), is recognized for his innovative research in audit judgment and decision-making. His research focuses on behaviour in audit settings and he is known for his strong mentorship of emerging scholars.

Dr. Krista Fiolleau, professor and director of the Centre for Accounting Ethics, received the award for her impactful research and teaching in ethics and auditing.
