Health and Well-being
Health and Well-being supports all students at the University of Waterloo. They provided a variety of primary medical care and mental health services through appointments and workshops.
Did you know there are also counsellors specific to the Faculty of Science? You can learn more about them on the Science counselling services page.
Health and Well-being also provides mental health training for those who are interested to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and assist in early intervention.

Student Success Office (SSO)
The Student Success Office provides support for academic and personal success, in addition to resources for international students and study abroad/exchange support.

AccessAbility Services provide academic support for University of Waterloo students who have both permanent and temporary disabilities. AccessAbility Services provides a range of direct support, referral, and facilitation for students.

Campus Housing has supports for students living both on-campus and off-campus. From Don support to academics in residence, students living on campus have access to a variety of supports.

MATES
MATES is a peer-support service for the undergraduate student population. MATES Peer Support Volunteers support students experiencing social and academic challenges as well as low-level mental health concerns and stress. The MATES team consists of trained student volunteers who are knowledgeable about various on and off-campus resources and can assist students in navigating these services. A MATES session lasts for one hour maximum. No concern is too small to make an appointment! We are here to support you and be a listening ear.

Athletics
Looking to get active? Athletics and Recreation have several options for students looking to improve their physical health. Try out an instructional fitness class, join an intramural team, participate in a pick up sport or bring your skates to the CIF Arena! Dont forget to download the Warrior Rec Mobile App to view schedules.
What to get started but not sure how? The Move Your Mind program can help students find an activity suitable to their interests, needs, and goals. There is an option to participate in an activity with a peer-volunteer to help students feel comfortable with the activity.
