Hearts Full of Hope
For the first time since the disease was identified by Dr. George Huntington in 1872, there is hope for treatments that target the root cause of HD, providing the HD Community with "hearts full of hope."
Join us on Saturday, October 5th at the Science Teaching Complex (STC) as we learn about the latest in research, and caring for someone with Huntington Disease. Plus! Dr. Dale Martin will be available to answer your research-related questions, and to provide a tour of his HD lab, located in Biology (B1-291C) at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Dale Martin is an assistant professor of biology at the University of Waterloo whose research focusses on the degenerative processes of the brain, particularly in Huntington Disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Schlerosis (ALS).
