Explore the night sky with astronomers from the Faculty of Science and Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. The Perseids meteor shower will be at its most spectacular, so let's gather to learn something and then enjoy the view!

At September's WCA-KPL astronomy talk, Dr. Marco Bonici will discuss how a new tool -- Artificial Intelligence -- is helping cosmologists to understand the data collected from telescopes, and answer the fundamental questions about the cosmos.

The Department of Physics and Astronomy is hosting students in Grades 7 and 8 on campus in-person on November 23rd for free activity workshops, inspiring talks, and a panel discussion, to encourage and engage female and non-binary students to explore physics.

Join us at the Earth Sciences Museum at UWaterloo for science activities on Family Day! We will have lots for you to explore, including a Microplastics hunt, the Rock Cycle Game, a Parade of Planets, and our Let's Talk Science friends.
