Science Undergraduate Office Closure

The Science Undergraduate Office will be closed on Wednesday, July 10 from 11:30am - 3:30pm for Science 101 day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Check the SUO webpage for regular office hours and sign up for our drop-in hours, if you need to speak to a specific advisor.

The SUO (STC 2031) will be open during construction. Please check in at STC 2022 for any questions or appointments.

Gustav Bakos Observatory Tour

Come visit the observatory during the August public tour!

  • Presentation at 8:30 PM in PHY 150
  • Telescope viewing at 9:00 PM (access from 3rd floor of PHY)

The Observatory is open for public tours, usually on the first Wednesday of each month, offering a chance to look through the university's telescope. This will be preceded by a short talk on astronomy (around 30 minutes) plus an opportunity to ask questions, followed by a tour of the dome.
