About this Event

Join us for an evening hosted by the University of Waterloo's Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3) and Water Institute. One hour, seven topics, seven speakers, with seven minutes each. Leading experts from both institutes will share their knowledge and ideas on how climate change can be addressed at the individual, community, and global levels.

Hey Science! Come join us and SBSA for a DIY Self Care Kit to get your midterms started. We will be in STC/B1 atrium on February 6th, giving these kits away from 11AM-2PM. These kits will include face masks, essential oils, fruit gummies, vitamin C, David's Tea, and more to help you relieve some stress and relax a bit during midterm season.

Calling out all UWaterloo Students! EDGE is hosting it's first Social Gathering for all undergrad Students in EDGE or regular stream programs on February 6th from 4-5 pm in the Project Cube in Hagey Hall! This will be a great opportunity to relax from midterms season and to grab some food! You can also make new friends, learn about what our program has to offer and play fun board games!

Family Day at the Earth Sciences Museum

Come visit the Earth Sciences Museum on Family Day!

The Museum will be open to the public all day, and the "Dino Pit" will be open from 8:30 - 4:30. Feel free to drop in and explore our many dinosaur and mineral exhibits, or you can come for specific program times (see below).

Women in Science (WiS) Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Women in Science Society is excited to announce the third annual Women in Science Undergraduate Research Symposium! The main objective of the symposium is to provide undergraduate students with an opportunity to present their research projects barrier free (i.e. free of charge). This year's symposium will feature poster presentations by our undergraduate students and a keynote presentation by Dr. Eden Hennessey!
