How I get involved: In addition to being a science ambassador I have joined several intramural teams over the years and participate in open rec sports as well.
Why I love my program
I love being in environmental science and ecology because it gives me the opportunity to explore more than one field of science. Environmental science connects many disciplines of science while learning about the natural world and current issues. Some topics I get the chance to study in my degree include ecosystem science, behavioural ecology, hydrology, invasion biology, and how climate change is impacting these different areas of science.
