Are you looking to get active, connect with your peers, and manage the winter blues? Get involved with UWinterloo this December.

What is it?

UWinterloo is a program to help you connect with other students who are staying in the Waterloo-area during the month of December. In addition, first-year undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to sign up for a free shoetag or intramural spot from January to March.

How does it work?

  1. Sign up for the UWinterloo program to stay connected with other students over the month of December.
  2. Check your inbox for emails about how to prepare for winter, tips for staying warm, and insider information about seasonal events around town like the Christkindl Market. Plan to attend local events and meet other students.
  3. First-year undergraduate/graduate student will also receive an invitation to sign up for a free shoetag or intramural spot during their first winter term. Note: There are 200 spots available which will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who can sign up?

UWinterloo is intended for:

  • Undergraduate international students
  • Graduate international students
  • Two-term exchange students
