Coming into university, many students don’t feel as though they have a full understanding of their mental health and how to ensure they are taking care of it. Mental wellbeing is how well a person can cope with the stresses, changes, and happenings of day-to-day life.

St. Paul’s flu shot clinic

Flu season is upon us and it happens to coincide with the busiest part of our student’s semesters. Going into their exam season, it can be difficult to take extra time out of their day to get off campus and find a way to a pharmacy to receive their flu shots. But that doesn’t take away from the importance they see in protecting themselves and their community.

We write to you today on behalf of the College to express our solidarity with all Muslim members of the St. Paul’s community. We condemn the recent murder of four members of a Muslim family in London and are appalled by the hatred and bigotry that engendered it. Those of us who live, work and study at St. Paul’s regard its diversity as one of its primary strengths.  We are pleased that our community includes many Muslim members and we want them to know that they have our full support in these difficult days.

St. Paul’s University College is very proud to announce the appointment of the Right Honorable Michaëlle Jean, 27th Governor General of Canada, as Chancellor, for a three-year term starting immediately.

“We are delighted to have someone of Mme. Jean’s talent and stature take on the role of Chancellor,” said Brad Siim, incoming Board Chair. “Her interests and values align beautifully with those of our College.”

GreenHouse in partnership with the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, hosted Hack4Health 4.0, alongside the MS Society and the Alzheimer Society.  Hack4Health is a hackathon focused on creating positive social impact by improving the quality of life for those living with multiple sclerosis and dementia.  Twelve teams spent two days learning from and engaging with 30 mentor
