Waterloo alumnus earns an inaugural Report on Business Changemakers award from The Globe and Mail
Cassie Myers (BA ’18), an alumnus of the GreenHouse social impact incubator at St. Paul’s University College and Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo, has been recognized as one of 50 Changemakers in The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine for 2021.
Congratulations to Lori Campbell!
Lori Campbell has accepted an offer to become Associate Vice-President (Indigenous Engagement) at the University of Regina.
Lori has served as the Director of the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC) at St. Paul’s for the past four years. She has also been a popular lecturer in the Indigenous Studies Minor offered by St. Paul’s for the Faculty of Arts.

Alumni Spotlight: Laurie Dillon Schalk, Co-Founder of Conquer COVID-19
In response to a global health emergency unlike anything we’ve seen in our lifetimes, a small group of friends including St. Paul’s alumnus Laurie Dillon-Schalk (BA ’92) formed a complex grassroots organization and logistics chain practically overnight. The organization Conquer COVID-19 gained national and international media recognition for helping to save countless lives and inspiring hope and optimism for thousands of Canadians right across the country. This Bell Let's Talk Day at St. Paul's, we want students to know they’re not alone during this time and there are plenty of resources to get you through. On-campus, we’re excited to share we have brought on two staff members to support students, Faith Friesen, a counsellor in-residence and Aaron Rousseau, a student support coordinator.

The Board of Governors at St. Paul’s University College has reappointed Richard Myers as principal of the College for a second term, beginning July 1, 2021. He will serve in the role until June 30, 2026.
