Steps to Add the Widget
- Login to Learn and go to the course shell that you want to add the Student Alert Widget to.
- Select Course Admin from the course Navbar and select Homepages from “Site Setup”
- Choose Copy from the drop down menu beside the Two-Column Course Homepage
- Select Two-Column Course Homepage – Copy by clicking on the title
To add a widget:

Scroll down until you see the layout of your homepage

Select Add Widgets button from the desired area into which you wish to add the Widget
- Make sure you’re looking at the Custom Widget tab and check the box beside the Student Alert widget. Then click Add.

You can drag the widgets from one area to another, if you wish to alter their location
To remove a widget:

Hover over the widget and click the 'X' in the top right corner of the widget you would like to remove

Select Save and Close
Make New Homepage the Course Default
- From the Active Homepage drop down menu, select Two-Column Course Homepage – Copy and select Apply.
