Biography

I wrote a dissertation on poetry and art/nonfiction film to explore concepts of loss and consolation. My primary area of interest is creative writing; I write poetry, short fiction, graphic poetry, creative nonfiction, and experimental forms. I have published poetry translation in Poetry NorthwestMichigan Quarterly ReviewThe Kenyon Review, and The Massachusetts Review. I was a poetry editor with The New Quarterly (2021-2024) and a few years before that I’d written a thesis on the poetry and poetics of G.M. Hopkins.
