Kent Aardse obtained his B.A. and M.A. achieved at the University of Lethbridge. Aardse is interested in the relationship between media and narrative, particularly how digital media and ubiquitous social networking challenges longstanding narrative forms such as novels and film. His research focuses on all forms of digital textuality, from electronic literature to computer games to alternative reality games (ARGs), exploring theis use of cross-media distribution and pervasive gameplay as means of transforming narrative for the new media ecology. He is highly concerned with digital technology: how this technology is woven into everyday life, and the far-reaching implications of this symbiotic relationship.
