Earlier this week, Neil Randall, director of the Games Institute and professor of English Literature, appeared on “Top of Mind with Julie Rose”, a Brigham Young University radio show, to discuss the teaching of the Harry Potter novels at the university level. Topics of discussion include the value of Harry Potter in a literary context, Harry Potter’s place in the literary canon, and what draws youth to the world of Harry Potter.
