Emma Vossen, GI Member, Top 25 Finalist for SSHRC's Storytellers Challenge

Once again a GI member is one of Top 25 finalists at the SSHRC Storytellers challenge.

Emma Vossen, PhD candidate in English and current editor-in-chief of First Person Scholar,  is one of 25 grad student across Canada to win a $3000 SSHRC award. For more information and to see the full story, visit the SSHRC website.

The Top 25 finalists, representing 18 post-secondary institutions from across Canada, will go on to compete in The Storytellers Showcase at the 2016 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, May 28 to June 3 at the University of Calgary.

Two years prior, another GI member and previous editor-in-chief of FPS, Steve Wilcox, was a winner of this competition.
