The Games Institute acknowledges that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (also known as Neutral), Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
Emily West, our dedicated member, wins Co-op Student of the Year for the Faculty of Arts
Emily has done an immeasurable amount to help propel The Games Institute forward, towards building a more collaborative and immersive space for all the student members.
Her efforts do not go unnoticed as she is now one of top five Co-op students of the year; this award goes only to the truly outstanding performing students. Emily is definitely very deserving of this award as she has consistently exceeded our expectations and contributed above and beyond how we defined her role. She demonstrates how to make the most of your working experience, by molding her role to better fit the general vision for the future of The Games Institute and her personal development.
Congratulations and thank you, Emily!
