Tina Chan and Jim Wallace present at the Hallman Lecture Series

Tina Chan, MSc alum and PASS inc. founder, and Prof Jim Wallace, GI faculty member from the School of Public Health and Health Systems, are presenting at the Hallman Lecture Series, featuring Jane Philpott, former Health Minister of Canada.

Their presentation is entitled "Post-Hackathon Learning Circles: Supporting Lean Startup Development" and was done in collaboration with authors Josephine McMurray, AnneMarie Levy, and Heidi Sveistrup.

In this research, the authors used Learning Circles (Indigenous knowledge sharing method) to include seniors from the community along with industry experts in giving feedback to "hacks" of winners from a local health hackathon.
