Bring the Faculty of Health to life by proposing bold concepts that create more engaging learning spaces that foster collaboration, curiosity and a stronger sense of community. The project invites students to collaborate to enhance the physical space, social atmosphere, or learning experience for the entire faculty—whether through art installations, sculptures, interactive displays, or other imaginative concepts.
Teams are highly encouraged to submit a proposal to foster collaboration, though individuals can also submit proposals as long as they follow the guidelines outlined below.
Please ensure that you have paid the AHSEF fee and are an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health before completing this application. Make sure that the form is completely filled out and all the information is correct.
The Big Idea Project proposal deadline is Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
After the submission deadline has passed, feasible proposals will advance to the next phase. In this phase, groups or individuals will have to create a physical and digital poster to present to the Faculty of Health students. Final selections will be made via a vote by Faculty of Health students.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the Student Transition and Engagement Officer.
Note, this is a separate proposal from the original Applied Health Sciences Endowment Fund (AHSEF) Proposal Form. This proposal is intended to benefit the entire Faculty of Health. Proposals for individual departments or personal gain will not be considered. Proposals for teaching salary will not be funded. Project funding is provided as a one-time grant. Project must not require ongoing financial support.
